Four U.S. women qualify for gold-medal finals at Klippan Ladies Golden Grand Prix in Sweden

Four members of the U.S. women's wrestling team earned spots in the championship finals at the Klippan Ladies Golden Grand Prix in Klippan, Sweden on Saturday, March 4.
Capturing spots in Sunday's gold-medal matches are Clarissa Chun (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) at 48 kg/105.5 lbs., Jenny Wong (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) at 51 kg/114.5 lbs., Sally Roberts (Colorado Springs, Colo./Gator WC) at 59 kg/130 lbs. and Kristie Marano (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) at 67 kg/147.5 lbs.
Marano, a two-time World champion and seven-time World medalist, won all of her matches by pin.
Roberts is a two-time World medalist, and Wong was also a World medalist in 2003.
Chun defeated another American star, Stephanie Murata (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) during the day, claiming a 1-1, 3-0, 2-0 win to advance.

This is one of the FILA Golden Grand Prix events, where athletes receive prize money based upon their finish.
