The fourth and final USA Wrestling sanctioned World Team Grappling Qualifying Trials will be held this weekend.
The No Limits East Coast World Team Grappling Qualifier Trials will be held in Alpharetta, Ga. on Saturday May 26. This event will be conducted under the new FILA rules for Grappling.
The tournament will be held at The Cooler, an innovative athletics facility which will features family recreation and sports programs in hockey, figure skating, roller hockey, fitness, volleyball, wrestling and other activities. The address for The Cooler is 10800 Davis Drive, Alpharetta, GA 30004
The top three placewinners in each weight class qualified to compete The United States Marine Corps U.S. World Team Trials in Las Vegas, Nev., June 8-10.

Three USA Wrestling sanctioned Grappling Qualifiers have been held in May, hosted in Irvine, Calif., Virginia Beach, Va. and Olympia, Wash.

Among the athletes who have qualified for the Grappling World Team Trials with strong wrestling backgrounds include past Greco-Roman Team USA members Kenny Owens and Keith Wilson along with past Women's Team USA member Tori Adams. Current Oregon State wrestling star Jamie Rakevich has qualified, as has Jeff Sato, a former NCAA qualifier from Columbia.
Another qualifier is Brian Vetell, who competes for the New York Pittbulls of the International Fight League. Dennis Hallman, who has won a number of major Grappling events and is active in Mixed Martial Arts, has also qualified.
The United States Marine Corps U.S. World Team Trials will be hosted at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., June 8-10 and is hosted by USA Wrestling. This event is the qualifier for the U.S. Grappling World Team which will compete in the World Wrestling Games in Antalya, Turkey on Sept. 7-9. For information, visit:
