MRSA stands for Methicillin-Resistant Staphulococcus aureus. In simple terms, MRSA is a staph infection that is resistant to common oral antibiotics. This term has been known within medical circles, but has become a matter of public knowledge recently. Stories about MRSA, called a "super bug" by the media, have appeared all over the nation. There has been considerable concern about this within the public.
USA Wrestling encourages the all members of the wrestling community to educate themselves on these topics.
