Taylor Massa named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for June 16-22

Taylor Massa (St. Johns, Mich./Team Michigan) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for June 16-22.

Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.

Massa went a combined 19-0 in the Cadet National Duals competition in freestyle and Greco-Roman this past weekend in Rochester, Minn.

Massa made the all-tournament team in both styles at 152 pounds.

He won a USA Wrestling Triple Crown in Cadets in 2008.
