Live Sports Video to webcast U.S. Beach Nationals & World Team Trials from Rochester, N.Y., July 18-19



LiveSportsVideo.com continues its tradition of bringing the best of Beach wrestling to the world with two days of live webcasts from the 2009 U.S. Beach National Championships and World Team Trials in Rochester, N.Y., July 18-19.

Visit Live Sports Video for in-depth coverage from Charlotte Beach Park in Rochester, as Beach wrestlers from across the nation compete for national titles and spots on the U.S. Beach World Team.

The U.S. Beach National Championships will be hosted on Saturday, July 18, with competition in five age categories: Senior, Junior, Cadet, Schoolboy and Veterans. Competition begins at 11:30 a.m. ET on Saturday.

The U.S. Beach World Team Trials will be hosted on Sunday, July 19. The top three placewinners in each weight class in the Senior division from the U.S. Beach Nationals qualify for the World Team Trials. This event will determine which athletes earn the right to represent the
Archives of the beach competitions will be posted on the Live Sports Video website after the tournament concludes.

Beach Wrestling was added as a new style of international wrestling, starting in 2005. Athletes compete on sand, in a style that features takedowns within a ring. The sport has been growing in popularity across the nation.

Live Sports Video has covered a number of major Beach wrestling events, including the 2006 and 2008 U.S. Beach National Championships.

Note to competitors: Athletes may register onsite to compete at the U.S. Beach Nationals, so make plans to attend and enjoy the action.
