Takedown Wrestling to webcast Navy v. George Mason on Saturday & Maryland v. American on Sunday



Takedown Wrestling will webcast a pair of Eastern Div. I college dual meets this weekend, which will be broadcast on TheMat.com and its video portal TheMat.tv free of charge.

Announcing both dual meets is Takedown Wrestling’s Scott Casber, with commentary by past NCAA champions and wrestling legends Wade Schalles and Kelly Ward.

First up is the dual meet between Navy and host George Mason. Bruce Burnett’s Midshipmen will take on Joe Russell’s Patriots in Fairfax, Va. Navy competes in the EIWA, and Mason is a member of the CAA.

The pre-match commentary begins at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time, with the match scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

Next is the dual meet between No. 17 ranked Maryland and host American. Kerry McCoy’s Terrapin team drives over to the nation’s capital to face Teague Moore’s Eagles in Washington, D.C. Maryland is the defending ACC team champion, and American competes in the EIWA.

The pre-match commentary begins at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time, with the bout set to begin at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
