Everett signs with the Citadel



CHARLESTON, SC - Jordan Everett of El Cajon, CA has signed a national letter of intent to wrestle at The Citadel, announced today by Bulldog head coach Rob Hjerling. A two-time California state qualifier, Everett finished fourth in the 215-pound weight class in 2000. He also placed eighth at the National High School Coaches Association National Championships to earn all-America honors. Everett, who also earned first team all-league honors in football, compiled a won-loss record of 148-36 in high school. Hjerling projects Everett to complete in the 197-pound and heavyweight classes at The Citadel. In signing with The Citadel, Everett joins Brandon Gates of Hendersonville, NC and West Henderson High School, Keith Clifton of Colleyville, TX and Colleyville Heritage High School, Wayne Watts of Riverton, UT and Riverton High School and Nick Goshen of Stow, OH and Walsh Jesuit High School who previously inked with the Bulldogs.
