I had a string of 32 straight wins this year and I won four straight tournaments, before I had emergency surgery on my appendix; this happened while I was on my way to a tournament in Wyoming, Feb 2012.  I missed several national tournaments during this time including the Colorado state championships.

High School accomplishments:

Favorite wrestler: My favorite wrestler is Henry Cujillo.
Other Sports I participate in: I play football in the fall during preseason wrestling and baseball (shortstop) in the spring and summer.
Favorite Athlete: My favorite athlete is Jackie Robinson.

Favorite Food After Weighins: My favorite food is pizza and pasta after weigh ins.

What I enjoy most about wrestling:

What I really like about wrestling is the competition, and standing on my own, being focus, technique and endurance. It has taught me to be humble and never take anything for granted. I most enjoy the friendships with other wrestlers.

My goals:

I have been wrestling folkstyle since I was four years old. 2012 was my first year to wrestle freestyle and greco. I love this sport and I am very dedicated and passionate about wrestling. I am planning to attend the best wrestling program in the United States at Iowa State University, or any Ivy League School.  My future goal is to make the U.S. World Team and Olympic Team.
