Junior Women’s Freestyle National Duals All-Tournament Team named

The 2023 Junior Women’s National Duals Freestyle All-Tournament team has been announced, based upon results from the Junior Women’s National Duals in freestyle, held in Tulsa, Okla. on Wednesday and Thursday.
Athletes who went undefeated in their dual meet matches in freestyle qualified for the All-Tournament Team, needing a minimum of five victories to be included.
In Junior Women’s freestyle, there were 40 athletes on the All-Tournament Team, representing 27 different states. Pennsylvania and Missouri had the most All-Tournament Team members with four. Washington claimed three on the All-Tournament Team. States with two All-Tournament Team athletes were Kansas, Indiana, North Dakota, Virginia and Utah. Placing one athlete on the All-Tournament Team were Arizona, Idaho, Ohio, South Carolina, Nebraska, Alabama, California, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arkansas, South Dakota, Illinois, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Iowa and Michigan.
Five All-Tournament Team members went a perfect 10-0 in the competition: Valarie Solorio of Pennsylvania (100), Ana Malovich of Pennsylvania (112), Jordyn Fouse of Pennsylvania (132), Cheyenne Ruiz of Utah (180) and Keilikki Nau Rarick of Utah (225).
Going 9-0 in the competition were Erica Pastoriza of Arizona (100), Joely Slyter of Idaho (100), Zao Estrada of South Carolina (117), May Cuyler of Virginia (144) and Stella Steigler of Virginia (152).
A large majority of the athletes on the All-Tournament Team were ranked in the most recent National Girls High School Rankings, which was most recently published in May.
