Liberty Mutual Insurance Play Positive™ is excited to announce the wrestling organization that earned $2,500 in the winter Pledge season.

Anchored by a mission to promote the sport of wrestling throughout the state of Utah, USA Wrestling – Utah’s primary goal is to support athletes, coaches, clubs and officials in both personal and organizational development.

To recruit Pledge supporters, USA Wrestling – Utah utilized a variety of channels to encourage participants, including contests on their website, social media and emails. They also set up a table and laptop at wrestling tournaments to encourage attendees to take the Pledge to support good sportsmanship in youth sports.

USA Wrestling – Utah will use their $2,500 Play Positive grant to support their National teams and help offset travel expenses.  Pledge Administrator, Jodie Cox, noted, “Once we decided to participate, anything short of winning wasn’t acceptable. We had to keep momentum going through the whole contest period!”
