Triple Crown Award
The Triple Crown is awarded to an athlete who wins three specific USA Wrestling national titles in the same year.
Boys Triple Crown
For boys in 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U, athletes must win the championships in each style (Folkstyle, Freestyle & Greco-Roman at the following National Championship events.
• Kids Folkstyle Nationals
• Kids Nationals (Freestyle & Greco-Roman)
For boys in 16U and Junior, athletes must win the championships in each style (Folkstyle, Freestyle & Greco-Roman at the following National Championship events.
• 16U & Junior Folkstyle Nationals
• 16U & Junior Nationals (Freestyle & Greco-Roman)
Girls Triple Crown
For girls in 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U, the three events of the Triple Crown include:
• Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals
• Kids Folkstyle Nationals
• Women’s Nationals
For girls in 16U and Junior, Triple Crown events include:
- 16U & Junior Folkstyle Nationals
- National High School Recruiting Showcase
- Women’s Nationals
- 16U & Junior Nationals
To win the Junior Triple Crown, a wrestler must win the Junior division at the Girls Folkstyle Nationals and the Junior Nationals in Fargo, plus one of the other events.
To win the 16U Triple Crown, a wrestler must win the 16U division at the 16U & Junior Folkstyle Nationals and the 16U Nationals in Fargo, plus one of the other events.
