Each week as appropriate, USA Wrestling will post the results from women’s college open tournaments from the weekend. There were six more tournaments held across the nation during the first week of December. In addition, we add in the results from one tournament held over the Thanksgiving.
This past weekend’s tournament results include the Chadron State Open in Nebraska, the BVU Open in Iowa, the Carthage Classic in Wisconsin, the New Standard Invitational in Pennsylvania, the Conner/Oppenheim Doane Open in Nebraska and the Mountaineer Open in Oregon. The weekend before, the Bob Smith Open was hosted in Kansas.

Two programs had a pair of champions, NJCAA Ellsworth CC and NCAA No. 11 University of Dubuque. Melonioe Barillas (103) and Amara Ehsa (110) were the Ellsworth champions, while Shea Reisel (117) and Mattie Papenthien (138) were the champions for Dubuque.
