KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (Qualifiers by Weight Class | Qualifiers by School | Qualifiers by Conference) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is pleased to announce the qualifiers for the 2025 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championships hosted by Visit Wichita at Park City Arena in Park City, Kan. The third annual championship event features four sessions and runs from March 14-15.
Each conference tournament awards automatic bids per weight class based on the final regular-season rating, which can be seen HERE. Each conference is awarded automatic berths based on the number of wrestlers ranked in each weight class. Each conference is awarded a minimum of one automatic bid per weight class, which will go to the tournament champions, even if the conference did not have any wrestlers ranked in the final regular-season rating. If a conference does not have an individual ranked in the final top 17, an allocation will be granted to ensure each conference is represented at each weight class at the National Championships.
210 total wrestlers qualified for the women's wrestling national championship this year, with the Mid-South Conference leading the way with 56 total qualifiers. The Heart of America Conference follows with a total of 46 wrestlers qualifying. William Penn (Iowa), Life (Ga.), Grand View (Iowa), Doane (Neb.), and Providence (Mont.) all travel to Wichita, Kan., with 12 wrestlers, while Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) will travel with 11 wrestlers.
After the conference tournaments concluded, a 12-member committee consisting of conference raters and oversight members met to select the remaining national at-large qualifiers. The seeding and preliminary brackets will be announced on NAIA.org by 5 p.m. (CST) on Friday, March 7th.
