Olympic Wrestling Medal Count as of August 4: Ukraine leads with four medals

After the third day of finals at the wrestling competition of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Ukraine took the lead in the overall standings with four total medals. They won three medals on Wednesday, two in Greco-Roman and one in women’s freestyle. Included was their first Olympic champion of these Games, Zhan Beleniuk (87 kg GR).
The ROC was the only nation with three medals yesterday, and did not add any medals today. Joining them with three medals are Japan, Germany and Kyrgyzstan.
Nations getting gold medal tonight were Iran (GR 67 kg), Ukraine (GR 87 kg) and Japan (W 62 kg).
