The 2022 Bill Farrell International is set for this weekend in a new location, Cedar Falls, Iowa. The event will take place April 1-2 alongside USA Wrestling’s Folkstyle Nationals, one of the best attended events of the year, and the Boys High School National Recruiting Showcase. This year’s Farrell will serve as a qualifier for the 2022 World Team Trials in all three Olympic styles—men’s freestyle, women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman—as well as the 2022 Pan American team selection in Greco-Roman.
In all 30 weight classes, the highest-placing U.S. athlete, who has not already qualified, will earn a bid to the World Team Trials in May.

Similarly, the bid for the 2022 Pan American Team in Greco-Roman will go to the highest-placing U.S. athlete in each weight, where there is not a 2021 World medalist. The only weight with a 2021 World medal winner is 97 kg, where G’Angelo Hancock will have first dibs on the team spot.
The tournament kicks off on Friday with Greco-Roman and women’s freestyle and wraps up on Saturday with men’s freestyle. Fans can watch all the action live on FloWrestling.
