Last Chance Olympic Team Trials Qualifier set for Fairfax, Va., April 6-7

USA Wrestling has announced that the 2024 Last Chance Olympic Team Trials Qualifier will be hosted at James Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, Va., April 6-7.
This will be the final qualifying event for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Wrestling at Penn State, April 19-20.
Only eligible Senior-level U.S. athletes who have not yet qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials may enter this event. The champion in each weight class from the Last Chance Olympic Team Trials Qualifier will earn a spot in the Challenge Tournament at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
Competition will be in the Olympic weight classes in the three Olympic disciplines:
- Men’s freestyle (57 kg, 65 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, 97 kg, 125 kg)
- Women’s freestyle (50 kg, 53 kg, 57 kg, 62 kg, 68 kg, 76 kg)
- Greco-Roman. (60 kg, 67 kg, 77 kg, 87 kg, 97 kg, 130 kg)
On Saturday, April 6, competition will be held in women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman. On Sunday, April 7, competition will be in men’s freestyle.
The local partners for the event will be the Patriot Elite Wrestling Club.
The event will be broadcast live by FloWrestling.

Women’s Freestyle and Greco-Roman
7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m - Medical check and weigh-in (scratch weight)
10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. - Preliminaries, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Consolations
4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. - Consolation Semifinals and Third Place Match
5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. - Finals
Sunday, April 7th
Men’s Freestyle
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. - Preliminaries, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Consolations4:00 p.m – 6:30 p.m. - Consolation Semifinals and Third Place Match followed by Finals
