Jasmine Robinson (Allen, Texas/U.S. Army WCAP) has been named the USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare, on April 17, 2024.

Robinson competed and won national titles in both the U20 and U23 divisions at the 2024 U.S. Marine Corps Women’s National Championships in Spokane, Washington, last weekend. She was the 2023 U17 champion at 69 kg and went on to win a bronze medal at the 2023 U17 World Championships in Istanbul, Turkey.

Her finals opponent in the best-of-three series on Saturday was injured in round one and unable to compete in the rest of the series.

Later that day, Robinson entered in the U20 division, earning her first two wins by technical fall and pinning her opponent at 1:16 in the first period in the quarterfinals. She faced Adriana Palumbo in the semifinals, where she was able to win by 12-2 technical fall.

In the finals, Robinson faced Shannon Workinger. Robinson went to work quick, pinning Workinger in just 54 seconds in the first round of the series. Round two saw Robinson secure the U20 title with a 13-2 technical fall.
