The 2025 U.S. Open, one of USA Wrestling’s largest and most prestigious national events, will remain in Las Vegas but at a new venue, the Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, April 23-27
This year’s U.S. Open will feature seven age divisions and 14 different tournaments, including the return of the U.S. Senior Nationals in all three Olympic disciplines. Athletes and their families are encouraged to secure their housing and register right away.
The age-groups and tournaments that will be held at the U.S. Open this year include:
- Senior (Born 2007 or Before): Men's Freestyle, Women's Freestyle, Greco-Roman
- U20 Men (2005-2008): Freestyle, Greco-Roman
- Girls HS Showcase (Born 9/1/05 & After, plus enrolled in 9-12 grade): Freestyle
- U17 Men (2008-2010): Freestyle, Greco-Roman
- U15 Men (2010-2012): Freestyle, Greco-Roman
- UWW Futures Men (2013-2015): Freestyle, Greco-Roman
- Masters Men A (1991-2000), B (1983-1990), C (1975-1982), D (1967-1974), E (1959-1966), F (1950-1958): Freestyle, Greco-Roman

The Senior and Age Group National Tournaments at the U15, U17 and U20 levels are part of the qualifying process for the age-appropriate World Team and Pan American Championships. For more information, check out Team USA selection criteria.
There are three tournaments at the U.S. Open which will directly determine a U.S. World Team: Senior Greco-Roman, U17 Men’s Freestyle, U17 Greco-Roman.
The Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase returns for the fourth year. This event is in freestyle wrestling, which is the collegiate style for women, and will be watched closely by college coaches and recruiters. To qualify, a wrestler must meet the following criteria
- All High School State Champions (any year)
- 2025 High School State Placers
- National Prep Champions (any year)
- Placer at NHSCA Virginia Beach High School Nationals (any year)
- 2024/2025 USA Wrestling National All-American status Place 1st-8th: (Preseason Nationals, Boys and Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase, Women’s Freestyle Nationals, Girls and Boys Folkstyle Nationals, and 16u/ Junior Nationals)
- 2023/2024/2025 U15 and U17 National Placer (Must be currently enrolled in High School)
Note: Girls High School athletes who are entered in the Showcase but not pre-qualified will be removed from the tournament without refund.

Athlete Credentials: All custom credentials will be printed prior to the event. Athletes MUST be registered and have a profile picture attached to their USA Wrestling Membership profile before the April 4th deadline at 3pm MTN to receive their tournament credential. If you have not done this already, please put your picture in as soon as possible.
