USA Wrestling extends partnership with NCSA to provide college recruiting support to members
by USA Wrestling and NCSA
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (November 7, 2024) – USA Wrestling is pleased to announce it has extended its partnership with NCSA College Recruiting, the Official College Recruiting Partner of USA Wrestling.
Since 2017, USA Wrestling and NCSA have partnered to bring college recruiting resources, information, and connections to young wrestlers across the country. Athletes and their parents can sign up for free NCSA accounts, and paid options provide even deeper levels of service and exposure. To date, NCSA has helped more than 2,385 wrestlers secure spots on college rosters, and their continued commitment to the sport will undoubtedly contribute to its continued growth nationwide. Wrestling remains one of NCSA’s fastest growing sports – especially with women’s wrestling, as NCSA has helped place over 446 female student-athletes into college wrestling programs since adopting the sport in 2017.
“USA Wrestling and NCSA have a strong history of working together to connect young wrestlers with opportunities for college recruitment. We believe our partnership with NCSA provides a massive benefit to our members, and we’re excited to continue collaborating to ensure more young wrestlers have a chance to compete at the collegiate level,” said Rich Bender, Executive Director of USA Wrestling.
“This partnership renewal speaks volumes of our collaborative relationship between NCSA College Recruiting and USA Wrestling,” said Rick McDole, Chief Operating Officer of IMG Academy Online. “The renewal ensures that USA Wrestling's student-athletes will continue to benefit from our collective expertise, including NCSA College Recruiting's proven track record of helping student-athletes win their future. Together, we remain dedicated to supporting these student-athletes as they pursue their dreams and develop the skills needed for long-term success”
