LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Ten champions were crowned on Thursday night at the U20 Greco-Roman Nationals as part of the 2025 CLAW U.S. Open Championships, held at The Expo at World Market Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Most Outstanding Wrestler Award was given to Pierson Manville, the champion at 67 kg. Manville recorded five technical falls, outscoring his opponents 52-2, including a 10-0 technical fall over Amryn Nutter in the final match.

Winning a title at 87 kg was Nick Nosler, after he bested Adam Waters, 8-0. Three technical falls and a decision for Nosler propelled him to a U20 Greco-Roman National title. This was Nosler's second-straight title at the U.S. Open.

Landon Drury, a 2023 U20 World Team member, won his second U.S. Open title at 63 kg. Drury was dominant in his championship bout, defeating Ned Kauffman in under 90 seconds in a 9-0 technical fall. Drury was the runner-up at this weight in last year’s event, and won his bracket at the 2023 U.S. Open.

In the finals at 55 kg, Caleb Noble fell behind 3-0 in the first period. Noble was able to take a 4-3 lead with a four-point throw as time expired in the first. Two monster throws in the second period pushed Noble to a 12-4 technical fall for the national title.

At 97 kg, Quinlan Morgan secured a U20 title after a quick fall in the championship final. Morgan pinned Cittadino Tuttle in 31 seconds after throwing a headlock on the edge. Morgan made his way through the bracket with a pair of pins and a pair of technical falls.

Leister Bowling IV, competing at 77 kg, won an individual title on Thursday night. Bowling’s five technical falls, with four in the first period, proved his strength at this level. In the finals, Bowling secured a 9-1 technical fall over Omaury Alvarez. Alvarez had not conceded a single point through the tournament entering the finals, until Bowling’s dominant second period.

A back-and-forth match at 60 kg ensued, as Manuel Saldate was able to pull ahead for an 11-10 decision over Treygen Morin in the finals. Saldate led 6-4 through one frame, tacking on five points in the second period, as Morin fell short of overtaking the lead. Through the tournament, Saldate picked up four technical falls to find a spot in the championship match.

At 72 kg, Wyatt Medlin of Illinois secured the title after besting Jude Randall, 7-0. Medlin was able to shut down Randall’s offense, taking a 3-0 lead into the second period. His offense improved in the second, as he finished his first U20 age-level tournament atop the podium.

In the championship bout at 82 kg, Gavin Ricketts continued his hot streak for the title, defeating Cody Kirk, 13-3. Ricketts his a huge five-point move in the second period, pushing the scoring gap and finishing the match with two more points for an exposure. Ricketts won all four matches on the day by technical fall.

Shilo Jones won the title at 130 kg, picking up a pair of technical falls before a 6-4 decision in the finals over Torin Forsyth. Jones took a 6-0 lead through the first, holding off late attacks from Forsyth to keep himself in good position.
