David Carr vs Olympic Silver medalist Daichi Takatani match set for Feb. 26 on FloWrestling Night in America

Two-time NCAA champion and Junior World champion David Carr will take on 2024 Olympic silver and 2023 World bronze medalist Daichi Takatani at 76 kg on February 26th in Coralville, Iowa. The match will be a preliminary bout on a full card of wrestling during FloWrestling Night In America.
Along with the Carr-Takatani match, Olympic bronze medalist and two-time age-group World Champion Aaron Brooks and Senior World bronze medalist Zahid Valencia will square off in the co-main event of the night. The rest of the card will be announced in the coming weeks.
Main event: Spencer Lee vs. Masanosuke Ono
Co-main event: Aaron Brooks vs. Zahid Valencia
Who Is Daichi Takatani?
Daichi Takatani is a Japanese freestyle wrestler. He won the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games at 74 kg and the bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. He is an explosive wrestler known for his explosive wrestling style and fun personality.
In Paris, he defeated World champions Kyle Dake and Khetag Tsabolov before falling in the finals to Razambek Zhamalov. You can watch his match with Kyle Dake HERE.
At the 2023 World Championships, Takatani made it to the quarterfinals before falling to Kyle Dake and then coming back for bronze.
