PARK CITY, Kan. – In its quest for a fourth-straight NAIA national title, powerhouse Grand View pushed seven athletes to the championship finals to take a commanding 51.5-point lead in the team standings as day two wrapped at Park City Arena.

Earning coveted spots in tomorrow evening’s championship round for the Vikings were No. 1 seeds Aden Reeves, Carson Taylor, Alex Reynolds and Garavous Kouekabakilaho, plus No. 3 seeds Gabe Gonzales and Cam Robinson, and No. 8 seed Elijah Larsen. Reeves and Gonzales will square off in an all-Grand View final at 125 pounds. The other five Viking finalists are paired against top competitors from across the nation.

Seven finalists at the NAIA Championships ties the all-time record set by Grand View in 2016.

Nine-of-10 No. 1 seeds went unscathed en route to the finals, which are set for 7 p.m. (CT) on Saturday.  Dominic Chavez of Texas Wesleyan, Donald Griffin of Central Methodist, Jonathan Kervin of Indiana Tech, JD Perez of Life and Gage Braun of Southeastern accompanied the Grand View quartet of top seeds who advanced to the finals.

The lone top seed to fall was Campbellsville’s Nicholas Yancey, who dropped an 11-5 quarterfinal to Elijah Larsen of Grand View at 149 pounds.

Two programs joined Grand View with multiple finalists—Life with three and Central Methodist with two.

Grand View amassed 176.5 team points, placing a sizeable gap between second-place Life, which collected 125 team points. Southeastern, Doane and Indiana Tech round out the top five teams after two days of wrestling.

The 2025 NAIA Men’s Wrestling Championships continue at 11 a.m. (CT) tomorrow with the remaining consolation rounds. Fans can watch the action live on FloWrestling.com. Updated brackets are available through Trackwrestling.com.
