2024 World Team Trials procedures now posted

The approved 2024 World Team Trials Procedures have been posted to USA Wrestling’s website, TheMat.com, and will be in effect for the 2024 Senior World Team Trials in Omaha, Neb., September 14-15.
Included are specific procedures for each of the Olympic disciplines (men’s freestyle, women’s freestyle, Greco-Roman) as well as the general procedures which cover all three of the disciplines at the event.
The World Team Trials will determine the U.S. athletes that will compete in the Senior World Championships in Tirana, Albania, October 28-31.
The event is open to all eligible athletes who are 2024-25 USA Wrestling members. Information on eligibility is included in the 2024 General World Team Trials Procedures.
The weight classes being contested include:
- Men’s freestyle: 61 kg, 70 kg, 79 kg, 92 kg
- Women’s freestyle: 55 kg, 59 kg, 65 kg, 72 kg
- Greco-Roman: 55 kg, 63 kg, 72 kg, 82 kg
Athletes, coaches, team leaders and others are encouraged to review the specific procedures for each style.
