USA Wrestling and WIN Magazine are pleased to announce a new partnership which will provide its Wrestling Leader members with a free subscription to the digital edition of WIN Magazine, which has been a popular and successful media outlet within wrestling for 30 years.
Wrestling Leaders are USA Wrestling members who are involved as coaches, referees and leaders within the organization. This new member benefit will soon be available to current/2024-25 Wrestling Leader members through their profile in USA Wrestling’s membership system. This new program will impact over 52,000 USA Wrestling members.
“Our coaches control the experience for so many athletes in USA Wrestling, so we’re quite bullish on the positive impact this new benefit will have. The vast majority of our coaches are not professional wrestling coaches by day, so we know these features will help coaches better understand, teach and relate to the athletes in their rooms,” said USA Wrestling’s Director of State Services Tony Black.
“WIN Magazine is honored by USA Wrestling’s decision in August to include a free WIN Magazine 12-Issue Digital Subscription as part of a Wrestling Leader membership benefit starting with this 2024-2025 membership year. We’re excited that these 50,000+ coaches, referees and club leaders will now be getting access to not only our newest issue each month, but our massive database of over 150 archived magazines back to 2011,” said Bryan Van Kley, WIN Magazine Publisher.
As part of the partnership, WIN will provide four additional pages of expanded coverage specifically for Wrestling Leader members of USA Wrestling in their digital edition. These pages will include features about coaches and officials from a number of levels of USA Wrestling, as well as cutting-edge coaching and training tips and philosophy. Each of WIN’s monthly editions provided to Wrestling Leaders will have new content created by WIN for this important segment of the wrestling community.
USA Wrestling is excited to not only provide the most current news, features and training information to its Wrestling Leader members, but also allow them access to the WIN Magazine digital editions going back 13 years.
“There's over 5,000 past athlete and coach features, rankings, technique-analysis pages, training tips, coaching Q&As with legends like Dan Gable, columns from active Senior-level athletes like Jordan Burroughs, Kyle Dake, David Taylor and Helen Maroulis, and WIN’s regular slate of columnists each month that will be a tremendous resource to any coach as a tangible additional membership benefit of being a Wrestling Leader with USA Wrestling,” said Van Kley.
As USA Wrestling has done for years, all USA Wrestling members and their families will also have the option when they purchase their membership to upgrade and add a discounted WIN Print Subscription to their annual USA Wrestling membership. Any USA Wrestling member can add the discounted Print Subscription ($27) at any time during the year in the USA Wrestling Subscription section of WIN’s website at WIN-magazine.com
This builds on a nearly decade-long partnership between USA Wrestling and WIN Magazine. For many years, WIN partnered with USA Wrestling to publish the organization’s membership magazine USA Wrestler. Another successful partnership included USA Wrestling state associations providing a WIN Digital subscription to all their athletes and Wrestling Leaders as a benefit to membership in their state association.
WIN Magazine remains dedicated to promoting the great sport of wrestling on all levels. WIN will continue to be a go-to resource for coaches at all levels, as well as a trusted media source covering all levels of the sport for its coaches, athletes and fans.
