U20 champions at the 2025 USMC Women’s Nationals.
SPOKANE, Wash. – Four-time age-group World medalist Audrey Jimenez proved herself the class of the U20 division at the 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Women’s National Championship on her way to the 50 kg gold medal and Outstanding Wrestler award.
It was a quick morning for Jimenez in the best-of-three championships series. She utilized takedown-to-lace combinations to dash Heather Crull’s upset bid in two-straight matches, 10-0 and 10-0. Jimenez finished with a 6-0 record—every result logged being a 10-0 first period technical fall. Her longest match of the event was 2:22.
Jimemez was a runner-up at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials and 2023 Final X, sitting at No. 2 on the U.S. Senior National Team the past two years only behind 2024 Olympic champion Sarah Hildebrandt. Jimenez has earned World medals in the U17, U20 and U23 age groups, three silver and one bronze. She is a top contender to make the U.S. Senior World Team this year.
2024 U20 World champion Jasmine Robinson of Texas and 2024 U20 World bronze medalist Naomi Simon of Iowa secured repeat bids with impressive efforts during Sunday morning’s finals held at The Podium.
Robinson clashed with 2023 U17 World champion Piper Fowler of Tennessee in a high-profile championship series at 72 kg. A four-point defensive hip toss propelled Robinson to an 8-2 win in round one over Fowler. Round two of the series was tight going into the second period at 1-0 Robinson. The key sequence occurred with just under one minute to go—an impressive Robinson double leg that extended her lead. Robinson took the match, 6-1.
The win marked Robinson’s second championship of the weekend. She cruised to the U23 title on Saturday afternoon before running it back at the U20 level. It’s the second year running Robinson has won both divisions in Spokane.
Simon punctuated her run to the 76 kg title with a pair of pins in the championship series over Virginia’s Sella Steigler. Round one ended in 2:41 thanks to a double-underhook toss to the back. In round two, Simon went feet-to-back with a Russian tie-fireman’s carry combination for the fall in 2:58.
In six matches over the two-day event span, Simon posted five pins. Her only non-pin win came by injury default while leading Nevada’s Billie Bonwell in the quarterfinals, 13-8. She is currently a freshman at the University of Iowa.

Two returning champions were upset in the championship series. Carissa Qureshi, who pinned each opponent on Saturday, fell unexpectedly to Lorianna Piestewa of New Mexico at 57 kg. Daniella Nugent of Massachusetts took out Cadence Diduch in a tight three-match series at 65 kg.
2023 U17 World bronze medalist Haylie Jaffe of Pennsylvania made her second age-group World Team by defeating Iowa’s Lilly Luft in two close decisions at 62 kg.
2024 U17 World Team member Everest Leydecker took out Fargo champion Clare Booe with an 11-0 technical fall and 59-second pin for the 55 kg title.
At 59 kg, Aubre Krazer of Pennsylvania put forth a strong effort against 2024 U17 World Team member and 2025 U23 Nationals runner-up Bella Williams of Oklahoma. Krazer controlled the finals series with 10-2 and 9-0 decisions. Williams was the only wrestler to score a point on Krazer, and hold her to a decision, during the tournament.
Other championship series winners getting it done in round three were Abbi Cooper of California at 53 kg and Jordyn Fouse of Pennsylvania at 68 kg. Both Cooper and Fouse lost decisively in round one before storming back with two wins to make the U20 World Team.
The 10 U20 division champions comprise the U.S. squad that will compete at the U20 World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria this summer.
The U.S. Marine Corps Women’s National Championships continue into Sunday evening with the remaining rounds in the U15, 12U, 10U and 8U divisions.
