Jasmine Robinson earns USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week honor presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare

Jasmine Robinson (Allen, Texas/U.S. Army WCAP) has been named the USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare, on April 9, 2025.

Robinson earned titles in both the U20 and U23 divisions at the 2025 USMC Women’s Nationals in Spokane, Washington, over the weekend. In 2024, Robinson also won both U20 and U23 titles at 72 kg.

In the U20 finals at 72 kg, Robinson, a 2024 U20 World champion, defeated 2023 U17 World champion Piper Fowler of Tennessee two matches to none in a best of three championship series for the World Team spot. Robinson secured an 8-2 win in the first round, before taking match two, 6-1.

On Saturday afternoon, Robinson earned a U23 title at 72 kg, defeating Elleni Johnson of Utah,  two matches to none. In the first round, Robinson pinned Johnson in the first period before claiming the title with a 12-0 technical fall in round two.
