Alexandria Alli named USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare

Alexandria Alli (Ashley, Ohio/Elite Accelerator Program) has been named the USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare, on February 5, 2025.
At the Grand View Women’s Wrestling Open, Alli won the championship finals by forfeit over Micah Fisher of the University of the Cumberlands at 160 pounds. En route to the finals, Alli defeated three talented college wrestlers.
In her first match of the tournament, Alli defeated No. 11 Allyssa Johnson of the University of Jamestown (NAIA), 9-6. She knocked off No. 12 Taydem Khamjoi of Texas Wesleyan University (NAIA), 10-1, in the quarterfinals.
In the semifinals, Alli defeated Caitlyn Davis of William Penn University, 8-0. Davis placed 10th in the 2024 U20 World Championships, and was a 2024 NAIA national champion at 155 pounds for Southern Oregon University.
Alli is the No. 5 ranked wrestler at in the January 2025 National Girls High School Rankings at 170 pounds. Alli was a 2024 U17 Nationals runner-up and a 2023 16U Nationals runner-up.
