Each week as appropriate, USA Wrestling will post the results from women’s college open tournaments from the weekend. Here are the results from five more tournaments held during the holiday period. In addition, we add in the results from one tournament held over the Thanksgiving.
These recent tournaments include the Red Lady Open in Alabama, the Mat Cat in Oregon, the Ken Kraft Midlands in Illinois, the Soldier Salute in Iowa and the Women’s West Coast Tournament of Champions in California.

Notes: NCAA No. 7 Presbyterian dominated the Red Lady Open with seven champions and 144 points, with NAIA No. 6 Lindsey Wilson in second with 107 points and NAIA No. 20 Central Methodist third with 93 points. Notes: NAIA No. 20 Eastern Oregon scored 148 points to win the Mat Cat Open, with NJCAA No. 3 Umpqua CC in second with 125.5 points and No. 7 Southern Oregon in third with 94.5 points. Seven different colleges had at least one champion, and four of those programs had two champions. Eastern Oregon champions were Irma Retano (117) and Brooke Cicierski (131). Notes: NJCAA No. 3 Umpqua CC won the college division at the Women’s West Coast Tournament of Champions, with NAIA Westcliff in second with 92 points and NJCAA No. 8 Southwestern Oregon CC in third with 78.5 points. Southwestern Oregon was the only college with two champions, Rubie Winterburn (110) and Taylor Knox (207). Other champions from college programs were Sierra Rieschick of Umpqua (131) and Kyree Rubio of Westcliff (180). Four unattached wrestlers were champions, Kiely Tabaldo (117), Leilani Lazaro (124), Azaria Biegler (145) and Mikayla Lancaster (160). The other individual champion was Janida Garcia of Swamp Monsters (138).
