USA Wrestling Folkstyle Tour of America continues with King and Queen of the Mountain

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The USA Wrestling Folkstyle Tour of America continued with the second event, King and Queen of the Mountain, on December 7 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Folkstyle tournaments were held in the 8U, 10U, 12U and Middle School age categories for boys and girls and true beginners in an open division. Awards were presented to the top six wrestlers in each bracket and athletes earned points for the U.S. Future Olympian Rankings.

Outstanding wrestlers of this event included Arielle Coleman of Betterman Elite WC (8U/10U Girls, 60-66 lbs.), Joaquin Vasquez of Duran WC (8U Boys, 53 lbs.), Bentley Churape of Pomona Elite WC (10U Boys, 71 lbs.), Knox Peasley of Omak Wrecking Crew WC (12U Boys, 74 lbs.), Harper Formanek of Black Fox Wrestling Academy (12U Girls, 80-85 lbs.), Jace Hauan of Bear Cave WC (Middle School Boys, 88 lbs.), and Harper Schwettman of Badlands Elite WC (Middle School Girls, 111-121 lbs.).
