PIN ratings announced for U20 Freestyle Nationals at CLAW U.S. Open in Las Vegas, April 26-27

Updated USA Wrestling PIN ratings have been released for the 2025 U20 Freestyle Nationals, which is part of the CLAW U.S. Open Championships in Las Vegas, April 26-27.

The top 10 wrestlers in each weight class based on USA Wrestling Freestyle PIN ratings, are listed below.

PIN ratings are not seeds. PIN ratings and athlete separation within each bracket are not final until after weigh-ins and subject to change based on final entries.

USA Wrestling’s Performance Index, abbreviated as PIN, is used for separating top athletes at USA Wrestling regional and national events. Each wrestler is assigned a PIN rating based on his or her results over time.

There are four 2024 U20 Freestyle Nationals champions who received the top PINs in their weight class at this year’s U17 Nationals, Bo Bassett of Pennsylvania (65 kg), Ladarion Lockett of Oklahoma (74 kg), Aeoden Sinclair of Wisconsin (86 kg) and Connor Mirasola of Wisconsin (92 kg). Lockett won a silver medal, Bassett won a bronze medal  and Mirasola was fifth at the 2024 U20 World Championships in men’s freestyle.

The other wrestlers with top PINs in their weight class have all also made a past U.S. World or Pan American team.

Two-time U17 World champion Domenic Munaretto of Illinois has the top PIN at 57 kg. 2022 U17 World champion Koy Hopke of Wisconsin is the top PIN at 125 kg. 2024 U20 World bronze medalist Justin Rademacher of Oregon has the top PIN at 97 kg. 2023 U17 World bronze medalist Brock Mantanona of California is the highest PIN at 79 kg.

Also with the top PIN in their weight classes are Elijah Cortez of California (61 kg) and Melvin Miller of Pennsylvania (70 kg).
