Attao brings home silver in men’s freestyle at Petko Sirakov–Ivan Iliev International

SOFIA, Bulgaria – Aden Attao won silver in men’s freestyle, ending his weekend with two medals at the Petko Sirakov–Ivan Iliev International in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In a two-man bracket at 125 kg, Attao faced Georgi Ivanov of Bulgaria, a five-time age-group World Team member, in the gold medal match. Ivanov won the final match 10-0, securing gold. The match resulted in Attao's second silver medal of the weekend, following his silver in Greco-Roman at 130 kg.
He adds to his growing international resume with two silver medals. Attao is a member of the Senior National Team member in Greco-Roman, after placing third in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
