Mason Milsaps wins the 57 kg U15 Greco-Roman National title at the 2025 CLAW U.S. Open Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mason Milsaps (Montgomery, Texas/Boneyard Wrestling Academy) has been named the USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare, on April 24, 2025.

Milsaps took home the title at 57 kg in the U15 Greco-Roman National Championships at the 2025 CLAW U.S. Open on Wednesday. The Montgomery, Texas, native went 5-0 with a bye in the first round on day one of action in Las Vegas. Milsaps was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the U15 Greco-Roman tournament.

In his first match of the day, Milsaps picked up a 17-9 technical fall over Henry Scott McDoniel of Threestyle Wrestling Of Oklahoma. Milsaps built a 7-0 lead before McDoniel closed the gap, and a high-scoring second period for both parties ended in Milsaps favor.

His momentum carried him into the next two rounds, as he won by fall in both the round of 16 and quarterfinals.  In the finals, Milsaps defeated New Jersey’s Jack Cole, 8-0. Milsaps struck first with a lefty headlock, followed by a body lock finish out of bounds in the 26-second win.
